College Football's "Grid of Shame"

Interesting take by the Wall Street Journal ...which includes everything in its rankings of college football teams.

Not really helpful to link to a story you have to subscribe to to read.

Was just talking about this with someone at work. Odd to be left of the average line when we’re ranked. But interesting.

Rutgers is the biggest weakling on the chart, in case there was any doubt about that.

I saw one paragraph and "Subscribe to read more." If others can see it great, I can't.
We all know you’re special...I can’t read it either...

I had something pop up talking about subscribing, I X'ed it out and it let me read it. Maybe it's just my day? Based on how the first hour and 20 minutes of work has gone, I was thinking the opposite.

It may be that WSJ gives you so many free articles before it makes you sign up. Those not able to read it, try a opening it on a different device that you've never read a WSJ article on.

Seems like we should be a few ticks to the right, given our preseason #22 ranking.

Pretty telling that the most crowded quadrant is the "Powerhouse/Embarassing" one. Yay, college sports!

You gotta pay for the WSJ for that! Bwahahahahahaha!!!

Just kidding.

North-South is Admirable-Embarrassing.

West-East is Weakling-Powerhouse.

So the Miami Hurricanes are an admirable powerhouse? I can think of at least two things wrong with that sentence.

Not quite sure I’d put Auburn on admirable island, so far away from its SEC peer group.

Yeah, Cam Newton (and his Dad) say hi.

Well, Cam would say hi, but...
