Woof... ESPN has to be kicking themselves for that decision. I wonder how many kids will be willing to get out of bed early to attend that Saturday morning.

Anyone have any idea why College Gameday Basketball has to pick all their locations prior to the season, but College Gameday Football is able to decide the week of?

Woof was my exact response as well. Pretty tough to cheer "we're #1" when you are in last place of a 16 team conference.

Game looked good on paper. Who would have thought that the teams would be 2-10 combined in conference.

Me thinks there will be lots of "filler talk" during the show and not a lot about Pitt.

I've always wondered why they don't just do what they do for football and announce the week before. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

these gamedays for college hoops are a little silly. Usually lightly attended... it just seems so...."small time" when compared to footies.

If Lville loses that game, they could be looking at a bubble-licious February.

They would be 14-6, 2-5 in the BE, with a very weak OOC schedule (best win was over Vandy). But they have a very difficult schedule ahead, including road trips to SHU, WVU, Cinci and the Dome. Plus they have home games vs UConn and us.

They need to finish better than 9-9 in the BE to get in the tourney, imo. Lose at Pitt and that task becomes very difficult.

If not for some ridiculous officiating, they would have lost to College of Charleston and I believe Bowling Green.

I think next year we'll see them go to that format after this debacle
