If Arthur Blank doesn't hire Doug he is probably left with only Oakland and they don't appear to be interested. If he is forced to sit out next year his stock is not likely to rise. Doug is not a glamour hire and he won't sell any season tickets. He will probably have to wait and appeal to a real basket case franchise - Washington, Cleveland, Tennessee.
