Who knows what to believe anymore these days. Smokescreens everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I like to think that I have credible sources who have been all in on Frost for 2 weeks now, but perhaps we got outbid by UCF. If so, ugh. Rumors are that he got cold feet at the altar and wanted to entertain other openings. I have to think O'Leary was a key player if he is really going to UCF.

So assuming we're moving on, I really, really hope we see one of these guys in the mix. Babers and Fleck won't happen until at least Saturday night, which is risky. Montgomery, IMO, would be my choice right now.

If not one of these guys, Beau Baldwin needs to get thrown back into the ring.

This is crazy. The longer this plays out, the sillier Coyle looks for firing Shafer. We need someone ASAP. This is a crucial recruiting time. More importantly, the fans are getting antsy and it has been radio silence form SU's end. They need to issue a statement IMO just to keep everyone at bay. Doesn't need to be specific, obviously, but something, anything. My gosh.

I guarantee that all of Coyle's eggs weren't in the Frost basket, despite the information that has been rumored. The end result is more important than expediency [within limits].

I'm cool with any of the 3 names listed here or Ed Orgeron. I know people have their beef with Ed O but he A) wants to be here and B) can recruit. At a certain point we do have to get some elite level players in here if we want to compete with FSU and Clemson. We can't just out-scheme them every year.

Like people have said in previous threads.. The elite teams have talent and scheme. These 3 guys give us scheme. Ed O gives us talent. Not sure what Ash brings us?

Keep in mind that probably means ANNOUNCE his decision. Behind the scenes, he could agree and shake on a deal with Coyle before it becomes public.

I don't knw Rocco, silence may be the best thing. If you can't say anything best to say nothing.

If he interviewed him last year I'd assume Coyle had a very good idea on what to expect from Frost and asked the correct questions.
