Stanford, Arizona State, USC all played Notre Dame plus 9 conference games. Arizona State also played Wisconsin. Oregon played Virginia and Tennessee. UCLA played Nebraska. Pac-12 schools play 10 games for the most part against BCS competition. Arizona State's non conference of a 1-AA, Notre Dame, Wisconsin is better than South Carolina's. While South Carolina is playing good teams by playing only 8 conference games that gives them an extra game to schedule. The SEC typically plays 8 conference games and 1 good non-conference game. Georgia and South Carolina were the only 2 to buck this trend. South Carolina didn't beat all the teams they should they lose to crappy Tennessee and played the worst 2 SEC West teams  Mississippi State and Arkansas to pad their 6-2 SEC record.

BTW that Eastern Washington team you mock is a multiple D-1AA National Champ and one of the top I-AA teams in the country I think they could beat the crap out of us if we played them,
