We gave you our best shot (at least offensively). Your guys made us look like a less than ordinary defensive team because you're really talented and really well-coached too. We'd have beaten probably everybody else (maybe not KY) in the country tonight. I'm sad our season is over, but that was a tremendously entertaining game -- I hope Bo & Boeheim try to schedule a regular season series because that was fun. Good luck guys.

Classy high five for you good sir.

You forced the fewest possessions by a SU team in 15 years and shot over 50% from 3 !!! Can't ask for anything better than that. If you told me that before the game I'd have bet the farm on a loss.

Still don't know how we won that game.

We both played so well I would not have been upset had we lost. Great game. I'm curious how you se us matching u with OSU.

Fourteen 3's? Holy crap. You guys have nothing to hang your head about. What a fun game to watch. Thanks for stopping by!

Having your big men on the bench for so long in the first half was a tough break, but you guys were outstanding the entire game.

The lack of turnovers, clutch shot after clutch shot by both teams - just a really well played game. Shame either team had to lose tonight.

That was an awesome game. I think you guys could have beaten UK the way you shot. You can be proud that you represented far better than Michigan State tonight. They looked awful against Louisville.

I didn't think we were going to pull it out when you guys went 7 in a row. But we dug down deeper than we had to all season. Hats off to your boys. They played tremendously. Our athleticism outlasted your hot shooting and that was the difference. Both teams can be proud that they played in the best game of the tourney so far, by far.

Thanks for a classy post. All Badger fans should be a disappointed but very proud bunch.

The angels were guiding your balls into the bucket. I thought, "If we win this game, we will be a team of destiny." Seriously, how did we beat you?? It was a tremendous game. Thanks for coming here. I know it had to be a bitter loss.

How dare you come here and post with dignity and class. Don't you know how message boards work?

All night I thought was "this is Butler, this is Butler, this is Butler"

This team was way better than Butler. Wisconsin played us straight up like men. They played basketball for 40 minutes. And they were good. Butler was none of that.

Yep, classy post... The Badger team and the Badger fans showed me something tonight.

Of course, our starting center sat out much of the game in foul trouble and his backup fouled out.

i was getting nervous during that stretch of 6 consecutive 3's......great badger fan and a classy post

Boeheim said that was the best any team had ever played against us and lost. It's certianly the most threes any team ever made agaisnt us and lost.

OSU is a lot more talented than UW and Matta is very good. They don't shoot as well from outside the paint as UW though. Keep Sulkinger outside and OSU is average. Deshaun Thomas can do damage, though. Craft will make things a bit more difficult for your guards than our guys did.

I also have to say, I fell into the trap of thinking "great man-to-man defense" = the clutch and grab malarky of the Pitt Panthers. My bad. Wisconsin plays with their feet and doesn't reach. I was wrong. It is a very good thing Syracuse made 5-9. I was worried our boys would fall into the trap of jacking threes and very glad we kept attacking. I am still dumbfounded that 14-27 from deep wasn't good enough to beat this Syracuse team.

Thanks for classy input. Hope to see you back here for a bowl game someday. ;)

On of the best-played games I've ever seen.
Wisconsin is the toughest matchup we'll have all year.
Total Discipline...great shooting...solid D...very few turnovers...All-American point guard.
So good...the Badgers ought to think about joining the Big East.
Or the ACC.
Or somewhere where we can play again.

Judging a fanbase entirely by it's message boards and blogs (probably not an exact science, admittedly), Wisconsin has just about the most knowledgeable and friendliest fanbase I've come across.

Yeah, hats off to a great-looking Wisconsin team. Better than advertised and MUCH more entertaining than billed. More like two heavyweights toe to toe. Just glad the Orange offense arrived for the game (it's been MIA for much of the season). WI gave us their best and it took our best to beat them. That's a keeper on my video.-VBOF

Absolutely tremendous bball game on both sides. UW played great. A lot to be proud of. I thought Jordan Taylor was going to will the Badgers to the W.

This game is an INSTANT CLASSIC, & may turn out to be the best game in Many years of the Tournament!

I have never seen a team strike with such accuracy as Wisconsin, & have never seen Syracuse respond so well against those vicious attacks from the third region.

This is, BY FAR, The best game of the entire season !!!

Win or lose going forward, this is a KEEPER in ORANGE & Badger Lore...
