There were no comments on the article which is linked above, maybe it was lost in the sea of links.
Just thought it deserved a shout out. This young forward will have some big shoes to fill this fall.
Lot of nice things such as:
"Jerami Grant leads Stags to 21st ACIT title, 71-56"
"Unstoppable Jerami Grant"
"Grant appeared more than ready to join Jim Boeheim at Syracuse Saturday night, repeating as the MVP in perhaps the most talented ACIT ever, with 23 points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots in a convincing 71-56 victory over Paul VI at Frostburg State University."
Perhaps the other two will join Jerami
"Freshman Isaiah Briscoe of St. Benedict’s was the tournament’s most outstanding player. Grant and Briscoe were joined on the all-tournament team
by DeMatha’s BeeJay Anya."
"Grant swishing a fall-away jumper while being fouled and falling to the floor with a half-second left in the quarter. He completed the three-point play for a 48-36 lead."
"“We definitely went into the locker room knowing it was a close game, and every game we’ve played them was close,” said Grant, son of former NBA player Harvey Grant. “In the third quarter we knew we had to step it up, and we did."
"The momentum carried into the fourth quarter with a Grant jumper"
"It was the first loss to a Washington Catholic league team in 23 games for Paul VI (34-3), ranked No. 1 in Washington and No. 9 nationally by ESPN.
