We'll be leaning more heavily on the portal this year than in years past simply because of the attrition and the imbalanced roster.  We are VERY young and have a lack of upperclassmen, and the only way to balance that out is through the Portal or through JUCO. Honestly, if out of this group, the TR S from Louisville and the Punter are the only first year 2 deep guys, I'm good with that.  I don't suspect that will be the case because I think the defensive players can play, but I'm good with it if 12 of the 14 RS.

We still need help at WR/DL/RB/OL for next year, so if we land some quality prospects out of the portal that can upgrade those areas then I think we should all be pretty happy with how things played out.  Yeah we didn't have any signing day victories over blue blood programs or anything like that, but with NIL that's going to be even harder now.
