"The Thing About the Dome: Syracuse fans complain -- a lot -- but when they're winning, there's no tougher place to play."

Yup, especially the locals

Lots of us mentions in there, even SU basketball. (Ugh!). But his comments about the dome are absolutely correct. Now we just need to start winning big again to prove it to young folks. Nice mention of Coach Mac too.

I like the Dome. It is unique, comfortable, dry, no wind and full of echoes of greatness.

Same here. I never understood why our coaches wanted to have power grinding teams when they have the fastest track in the land and controlled weather conditions.

Based on recruiting, and the offense we tried (and failed) to run at the beginning of the season I have to believe our OC has the same fast track vision for our offense moving forward.

Assistant coaches from our opponents fear the Dome. This is directly due to their multiple trips through the human gauntlet walking up the steps in 301 en route to the coaches' box. They don't seem to like chest bumps and energizers. Weak.

Of course it has to be the locals. Because nobody else goes.

I love the Dome. It's just in the wrong location.

Ivan has always been SU friendly and even voted SU #1 in the 93 pre-season vote. Yes boys...football #1.
