Not just his shot. His ballhandling and overall quickness has been jacked.bI'm really curios why Jeremi didn't play. It can't be anything good. Is he hurt or is it books? Its good that some of the newbees got on the floor BJ Roberson and a couple walk-ons at the very end. A bit ragged considering they played two exhibition games.Coleman was again a non factor. Rak was effective inside with his positioning and slams which in this case were justified.

getting recruited over will do that do you

So you're saying Buss may be playing with a chip on his shoulder too... If so, thanks, Tom Crean.

I don't understand this. Did we sign a SG prospect for next year? Because I wouldn't consider Patterson a threat to Cooney's spot, even before the exhibition games started.

No doubt Cooney improved his game but I don't think that's what's driving his improved performance. The change in his confidence and focus on the court is what's paying dividends for him. Some have said they see a change in his shot mechanics but I just see a quicker release because he's not thinking about it as much. The ball still pretty much starts in the same spot and gets released at the same point.

The athleticism was always there, IMO. He has to overcome the stigma of being a white guy (i.e. slow/unathletic) but the guy can flat out play basketball. He looks a little quicker (as most guys do after a year of working out) but quickness was never a weakness of his game from my perspective.

He's referring to combo guard, Kaleb Joseph...
