Cooney was the last reason we didn't wi n tonight. The kid barely played and when he did he hit a big 3. He has nothing to feel bad about. As for mcws comment he probably meant stepping in for triche. Not to say he's not leaving but I don't think that's how he intended it

It wasn't Cooney's fault. If anything, it's JB not knowing that they would cover Southerland like a glove, and that you'd need a backup plan.

It said that MVW expected Cooney to step into the role of the guard to make the big play next year. Pretty much does say that it won't be himself...why? Because he will not be here.
