I think he would get more flack - he's not anywhere close to approaching a good all around guard.  Defensively he's adequate.  Otherwise, shooting is about all you get. He has shown some more this year, but his all-around floor game is about as complete as Howard's shot. Same with G - he's been painfully up and down of late.

Yesterday was all about the offensive rebounding though.  We got crushed on the boards.  We can survive Cooney having an off game like that, probably even Richardson against a limited team like Pitt with Lydon picking up a ton of slack.  With 1-3 having so-so efforts though, we were done.  If we rebound even moderately well early, most SU teams, heck even this team, may have been able to build a gigantic lead.  It's deflating to play defense, give the ball back, play defense give the ball back...rinse repeat, like that until that early lead is gone.
