I still think Jordan is going to be pretty great. He was not put in a good position to start this season. Tucker has been a revelation and is the better all around back for sure and is the complete package. I don't think Tucker would have produced at the level he has in the first couple games either. I think moving forward Jordan will Excel in spots running the ball. Jordan doesn't have the body, at least yet, to be an every down back, especially with the OL he was running behind at the beginning of the season. He is not the type of player you run up the gut with a constantly collapsing wall in front of him. As the line has gradually improved, I think Jordan would be doing very well the past few games if he had the opportunity to play in them. I think Jordan would be more explosive than Lutz has been, but he has to be used correctly. Give him plays that suit his style which should be a little easier to do now that our OL is playing a bit better and we know that we have guys like Tucker and Lutz that we can count on to be the primary ball carriers. Tucker was a true freshman so we didn't know how much we could trust his knowledge of the plays to start the season. Lutz was playing WR until he just got moved back there and really hadn't proved anything at the position yet. I would really like to see Jordan work on his receiving game and become a hybrid slot receiver/RB and really excel in the open field. Thinking Percy Harvin, Tutu Atwell and a little Reggie Bush. Stick him at slot and have him rotate to the backfield some but also have him run some jet sweeps. Jordan can still be moved back to more of a RB roll if we have injuries as we obviously don't have much depth there. But I really do like Lutz and am really surprised how well he has looked. He has a much better overall game than I thought. He is a heady hard worker and love his blocking ability. Doesn't seem to be great in any one area except maybe blocking, but isn't really lacking in any area either. Solid player. Edit: Lutz does also seem to Excel in the passing game. Really good 3rd down back skills.
