No other way around it, when that happens you can't not have some kind of concern for what might happen because no one else had the chance to prove much. Our third WR from last year in West will surely be a starter and has shown he has a chance to be pretty good. Our 3rd and 4th WR's from last year in Kobena and Clark are back and will fight for time. Other than West no receiver has proved anything during a game but as most people would agree with we have some decent talent to work with. Other than West I don't expect anyone else to be great this year but they should be solid enough to where it doesn't kill us. We aren't talking WR talent as seen in the years like when Rice Moss was the best we had. They will be serviceable this year and could eventually be very good.
 
Can't expect much from Frosh. People underestimate how hard it is to come in and play WR as a frosh. Besides the playbook , learning to run routes and the nuances of the postion going up against top CB's takes some acclimation time. Its not quite like say RB.
 
Really bummed we don't have Foster this year as I thought he was going to be good. Also would've been nice to have Dontez Ford as he was tearing up the skout team at WR. I got the impression he left because he wanted to play WR and we wouldn't let him. Is that true?!? Guess those "scholar"ships have sailed.
 
Assuming he is healthy, as a dark horse I really like Ben Lewis to emerge this year and show great potential. I see him as our next Alec Lemon eventually.
