Nice recap; the only things I'd add to your Cornell thoughts are: 2.) Pratt had a tough night but was left on an island due to Cornell's strategy and a few bad slides (or no slides). The Big Red was slick in attacking Megill's alley while Pannell was either at X or on the wing. They wanted to force Megill to slide and leave Pannell or they figured the slide would have to come across the crease (i.e. too late from a different position). They were right more than once. That's a great offensive strategy made easy to execute when you've got an attackman of Pannell's ability. I couldn't understand why Matt Harris was playing 25 yards away from the goal on Cornell's last drive to tie. He or Hamlin should've decided (or been told in the final TO) who had slide responsibility and to stay home because there was no way Megill was coming off Pannell. Pratt had the unfortunate designation of being the weakest link on the field (as Ianzito was a beast) so it was inevitable that they'd pick him to attack. 3.) I'm not a fan of having an EMO unit full of offensive specialists (and half-filled with guys who would otherwise watch from the sidelines but for man up opportunities) - especially freshmen and sophomores. I think the last EMO had DeJoe and Walters up top together and w/ 35 seconds left in the EMO DeJoe takes a horrible shot for an easy save/turnover. To make matters worse, he was forced to play D as Cornell realized they had a mismatch. I can't remember if Cornell capitalized. I like Walters on one wing or up top. He's proven himself from last year. DeJoe needs more seasoning and I think it's difficult to get that from only playing EMO. A few final random thoughts... Jenkins - the kid has tons of heart and is quick but is physically outmatched. I understand the need to give Pratt or Ianzito a breather during games but how bout we try someone else. Lecky - I don't care if the other team knows you're all left; play to your strength. Gotta use your athleticism to set up your dominant hand. Please don't take another right-handed shot - it's not keeping the D honest. Schoonmaker - I was so wrong about this kid. Thought he had a poor lax IQ because he's from Oregon. Man has he blossomed. Great to have another thoroughbred in the stable!
