I’m sorry, but I just can’t let this go. I’ve been listening to Booker Corrigan call both HS & College games for years so I’m well versed in his sophomoric antics & catch phrases. That being said, following a 3rd quarter Cornell goal, he said “nice hard bouncer….a little Paris Hilton there.” The other announcer, who laughed at his jokes all day, clearly sounded uncomfortable & didn’t even respond. Am I crazy or is this anything other than a completely vulgar & inappropriate reference to her sex tape? He is who he is & his shtick isn’t for most but this line caught me completely off guard. Imagine if someone said that on an ESPN, ACCN, BTN, etc. broadcast? There’s families & kids tuned in. Again, is this a reference to something else in relation to Hilton that’s going completely over my head?…..because I’m honestly hoping that’s the case.
