I think the Lampkin to Starling play we ran a lot against Texas Tech was an effective play.  It has the benefit of potentially getting wide open threes for Bell, Moore or Freeman.

I think our best offensive lineup is Moore, Starling, Bell, Freeman and Lampkin.

Four shooters, including one who has been proven to be elite in the past. Three guys who can go to the basket and finish. Two guys who can post up, and pass out of the double team.  This offensive lineup has the potential to be really good.

Defense will be a work in progress forever, but Freeman and Moore at least present some upside on the defensive front.  Freeman's already gotten a lot better on defense, and has gone from "lost out there" to "could be better."

This also would be a decent rebounding team, as Freeman and Lampkin are our best rebounders, and Bell is showing improvement there, even if he's unlikely to ever be a good rebounder.

The reserves are what they are.  They get minutes when they can help, or when they absolutely have to be out there.

We talked a lot about how deep this team was all summer long, but really we aren't that good, so we need to play the guys who [B][I]are[/I][/B] good.

No better time to start doing that then when we are facing a blowout at Tennessee.  Putting guys out there who have consistently proven to be overmatched is a recipe for a big loss.
