Dam you psu. Just to many unforced turnovers at key moments along with waiting to make switch at faceoff. As mullins was making it 50/50 but wings not picking up gbs on it hurt. Also looked like fracyon continued his bad play even seem to be guessing on goals. The one kellarher goal out of box he dropped his hands first before going up n was late. Great year for psu. Also think traynor didn’t assert himself as much as needed to. Well let’s go orange let’s finally take down maryland n tillman.

So for instance if a goalie is 20 yds out and stops a shot is that a shot on goal or a play by the D?

the object of the rule is to force shots on goal, a guy standing inside the goalie crease should qualify

otherwise a team could in theory have all 6 defenders stand in the goal mouth and stop shot after shot with body blows and you would say it never got a shot off.

Its just a poorly worded rule if they dont count those as saves on goal.

The defense is allowed to enter it briefly but is not allowed to intentionally block a shot.

did the rule get modified?
