you mean New Jersey high school kids would turn down a rutgers education to attend WVU.

there motives ...

Not to mention WVU has a huge - and I mean huge - alumni base in New Jersey. It used to be that WVU had more students from New Jersey than West Virginia.

Driving back home because they forgot to leave their televisions on. Probably too much traffic and snow flurries to make it back to the Bronx.

New Jersey kids who graduate from WVU usually get jobs in eastern Kentucky. That makes for a fairly long drive and Pinstripe Bowl tickets were rather steep for folks taking home less than $12 per hour.
