Ron Thompson is really good.

Jordan Fredericks is our best back. I wouldn't mind him being a workhorse instead of this RB by committee bullcrap.

Mahoney is a better fit for Lesters offense than Wilson. I hope it ends up never mattering.

Actually that was three years ago but you're correct. Neither of them have ever gotten better.

Impressed by defensive line and linebackers. They were out there for the entire second half and they still brought it in overtime. We have serious problems in the secondary. Whigham never looked back for the ball on CM's last touchdown. If he had, we'd have won in regulation. Austin Wilson is hard to watch.

Let me add that in overtime we had a Walk on QB, a walk on OL, and a freshman RB. Not easy.

I honestly don't think Lester was prepared to coach a game without Dungey.

The problem is that the cupboard is bare after you get past Dungey on the depth chart. Don't think Austin Wilson is the answer. Anyone have info on Mahoney? What year is he? Honestly, a walk on? What does that say about AJ Long?

Mahoney is listed as a So. I believe they are red-shirting AJ.

Am i the only one who thought Mahoney looked serviceable?
Played composed, may not have the arm or size, but didnt turn it over, didnt make any mistakes and ultimately won the game.
He was what 4/5 passing with another 15-20 on the ground.

Sure, i just don't want to play a full game with him or Wilson under center. He had a couple really nice 3rd down throws. I was happy with the no pics, unlike Wilson.

The best part is he was ready to play.

What part of Aj is injured and they really want to redshirt him. I thought he could go if needed but I'm guessing not cause this staff of under pressure to win and they would have used him if they thought he could go. I'm impressed That they didn't run him out there to try and pull that one out cause they needed this win more then anything for a bowl.
