For those hoping to get inside the dome and see a game, not so fast my friend.

There is a Covid cluster on campus. Off campus party of less than 25 people. Evidently, someone travel to Binghamton, came back and attended the party. 13 confirmed cases so far, some who weren’t at the party.

Greek houses being asked to get a test today. Email sent to parents and students explaining the sitch went out an hour or so ago.

so kids decided that going an hr away to party is now a good idea? In a few weeks they will have 2 months to do it if thats a goal..

You've probably had Cornell, Oswego and Binghamton students at SU off campus parties throughout the semester. It's expected. Virus be damned.

no mention that the kid went to a party, just that one kid went to Binghamton, came backinfected and then infected those at The party.

I blame Joe Spence

The biggest issue is these kids infecting the vulnerable older folks both on and off campus. A compilation of data from 50 large universities show 70K cases but only a few hospitalizations and zero deaths this fall semester. This hasn't covered all college students but statistical analysis shows that young people have extremely low risk of having serious issues.

I care about the future pro careers of said football players.
I dont know what to say Pete Buttgieg-face-town-hall.gif

With what we're seeing happening in the NFL - and what's happened on a number of different campuses so far this season - it seems inevitable that SU football will be affected at some point and likely have a game (or more) postponed.

Why is everyone attacking a poster that mentions on a football board that the school isn’t suspending football activities.
Forget it, they’re rolling
