Just said on his radio program that you don't know what people do behind closed doors.

Teased to commercial with Andy Katz next. Questioning whether JB survives this, saying it's not a given.

Cooler heads prevailing perhaps? The tide turning? Or just him being his contrary self?

that damn apologist! I don't think I heard anybody supporting Joey p.

Since the program's life support is basically in the hands of the public at this point, I would assume it helps us to have some in the media questioning why JB would get fired.

The only people questioning JoePa being fired had attended Penn State at some point in their life.

If there are some in the media supporting JB then he will survive. There was NO ONE reputable supporting Paterno. Thankfully, some people can see the difference in sounding like an a$$ vs. doing nothing when you were told a kiddie butt raping.

If Cowherd supports us ... we're ***ed.
Never understood this. Cowherd is awesome. Literally one of the only guys who tells it like it is.

Are people still bent about his comments about Syr from a couple of years ago? As far as I recall, they were essentially true.

Didn't he call the play by play during the Washington Football game?

"Cowturd."

Wow. Check out the big brain on Brett.

I have no clue what he said about us years ago, but I've never liked Cowherd. He's habitually takes unpopular viewpoints to drive ratings and arguments.

He did his show from Syracuse before the Washington game a few years back. He didn't have anything nice to say. Called SU a concrete campus or something. Don't quote me I can't remember, I could be wrong.

Well that's pretty ridiculous considering very little of our campus is "concrete", but whatever. I'd be surprised if Cowherd could acknowledge grass being green.

compared to other major universities, our campus is on the bland/ugly side and a lot of circa late 60's/ 70's decor, especially Newhouse. It doesn't help the beauty of the campus that Syracuse weather isn't the best half the year.. it may be an ugly baby but it's our baby..

have you ever been to ND? cuse blows that campus away.

Maybe it has something to do with being a gigantic racist.

It's all in ones own eyes though. To me the Newhouse schools are great Architectural works down by a world renowned Architect. Those are great buildings - the new link between Slocum and Link Halls now that is an eyesore.

I end to think Syracuse has a pretty good campus with the exception of a few buildings. Old doesn't always equal ugly and new doesn't always equal great.

Exquise me?
Sardonic choice of a Pulp Fiction line, implying the "Cowturd" thing was not clever. I come here expecting college+ dialog, and too often find third grade 'wit.'

Toss this in with Rutgirls and Calimari/PayPal Cal. You really thought it was cute?

I kinda agree. The SU campus is 'nice' in bits, and ordinary in other bits. But, in either case, it's never spectacular. And, if you've visited any southern land grant campuses, it's easy to see how Syracuse falls short of the 'impressive' list. Nothing wrong with Syracuse. It's just not a campus to boast about.

I thought it was simply ADORABLE.

Just making sure. Sorry that the writing isn't up to your standards Quentin.

Interesting. Not going to jump on you for your read/opinion. I see it the exact other way around. Generally, I tend to agree with him pretty much across the board.

I get to listen to him 1+ hours per day during my commute. Not saying you are right or wrong...just that I see it completely the other way.
