Bullough has lost my confidence the last two games Maybe Shafer should be on the hot seat. The experts here might know the answer her . Does the AD have a say on assistant coaches? My feeling is that if the AD expresses a no confidence on an assistant , the head coach would be wise to listen and respond. The LBers have dropped their efficiency lately. The same can be thought of the secondary. Whigham has once again proved to be vulnerable defender . Its one up after another with him The camera caught Shyer time and time again wincing with total dissatisfaction. is he facing toehold axiom of never hire friends because having to fire them is a difficult position to put yourself into. Hiring is easy but firing is torment caused by the hiring. Its a business axiom. I had the opportunity to hire friends but I wouldn't do it. Terry is facing this issue buthis agents are dealing with the face to face propel and the issue will be resolved when its time to be face to face with the problem.Someone's status is going to be diminish to a subordinate

Hard to say - I think I read somewhere (Athlon ACC book maybe) at the start of the year that the defense would be a bigger question mark than the offense due to personnel losses - and that was b4 Hunt was injured. If you blitz a lot you are taking risks. USF gave FSU trouble for a half and UVa gave ND a real game b4 losing in the last minute or so. UVa did have a terrible game against Boise State and FSU has not had great first halfs in most of their games, so I don't know what to tell you. I think there will be some movement on the coaching front in one or more ACC programs by the end of this year - not sure that SU will be among them - depends on how the SU team performs in the last 6 games. If they are competitive and if coaching contracts don't expire this year, I don't see any movement.

BTW, was that UVA defensive touchdown really from an incomplete pass - i.e. did the ball hit the ground 1st?
If so, that was the difference in this game!
