Sounds kind of silly after last week but I really see tomorrow as a potential inflection point for the program. Playing a team we should beat at home if we execute but it's not outside the realm of possibility that WMU scores the upset.

Never look past ANY game (since the Villanova debacle) but a win tomorrow and over Holy Cross going into a bye week resets us for the balance of the conference season with a chance to get healthy and really tweak some problem areas before travelling to Raleigh.

A loss tomorrow, however means a tougher road to becoming bowl eligible, a major dropoff in bandwagon fan interest and frankly a propensity to start to question if last year really was a fluke.

Let's go get it tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the first step to turning the season around. I think we either lose or win easy.

Kinda think the O will begin to get the kinks out tomorrow. If the defense brings the effort they had vs Clemson, I'm expecting a never in doubt, solid win. I do not want my knuckles to be white at any point if the game.

I honestly don't care if we win by 1 point. Just win. Then you have nearly 3 weeks, including a scrimmage, to work out ALL of the issues. Will be a lot more productive doing it as a 2-2 team than a 1-3 who lost to a MAC.

Kinda stinks having to worry about WMU... oh how the difference two weeks make!

I don’t think last year was a fluke no matter what. There were signs all 3 years that Dino was building something and can coach. If we lose this week, it will just signify that we couldn’t just reload with new OL and new QB as quickly as everyone hoped.

You’re 100% right about fan interest though.

I hate the must win moniker as much as anyone. but I will use it here. I just feel like the season will go down the tubes if we lose tomorrow. And I am a glass half full person. So, let's win, then we get a slam dunk win next week and then a week to get healthy for NC State. 3-2 versus the 4-1 we expected/hoped for wouldn't be too bad, in spite of how poorly we have played thus far

Its been said already but tomorrow is the classic game where the team either rights the ship and gets things going or if we lose there's a good chance the wheels come off completely and things get ugly quick. After all the hype a 1-3 start would be a disaster.

A loss tomorrow I think would show we aren't just going to turn it on and dominate the rest of the ACC the next part of the season.

I think we win and at the end of the day and I don't care how it happens at this point.

The psychological difference between being 3-2 versus 2-3 after our first 5 games is enormous.

truer words have never been spoken my friend, must win!

I know what you mean, but id be concerned even if were 3-0. Program just isnt there yet.

You would be concerned in general or concerned about the WMU game even if we had beaten MD and Clemson?

I would actually not have 1 worry if we were 3-0
