Current Syracuse University Students

Just trying to get a better idea of who the current SU students are on the board. Maybe add where you're from, what year you are, what your studying, etc.

I'll start by saying I'm a freshman Broadcast and Digital Journalism major. I'm from North Syracuse so I've known Syracuse sports my whole life. My family has football and basketball season tickets, and I've been going to games with my family since I was 2. Yes, I really was that young. I'm glad to finally be on campus. Can't wait to be in the student section this year.

Proud to say I've never left a football or basketball game early ever whether were were up 20 or down 20. I'll definitely continue that in the student section, and hopefully I can get my fellow students to do the same.

I am an 89-year-old going back to SU for the second time. I will be studying philosophy. I figure I've already passed the question: Why am I here. I have moved on to the question: Why am I STILL here.

Better than me...I routinely left games with 5 mins of clock time left under Grobbers. I think PSU in '08 I left before the end of the 3rd Q.

Tricky you are welcomed to come by the Fine Mess. Feel free to bring a couple buddies. We'll feed you...We had BlackKnight76 and a SU MB person coming to our tailgates as an undergrad. We'll mentor you in tailgating...and understand you guys usually only stay 45 mins or so as Marshall St or the Quad is your destination.

And when I went Many, many, many years ago I was often the lone student in the stands at the end of a football game. In the rain, cold and wind, and we never won. I think we were 2-6 most of my years there. So in about 40 years you will still be here cheering the SU teams on.

Alright I'll make sure I do my best to get the students to the games. The team should have a better product on the field than 2 wins so nobody will leave early. And I know I'll always be part of the Syracuse family cheering them on, especially as a hopeful sports anchor.
