Long time lurker. Have read various cord cutting solutions but can't find now that I'm serious. Roku, Apple or anything, what is a Cuse football and hoop fan's best option to cut the cord and still get games? Thanks in advance.

It's hard to drop cable or satellite and still be able to get decent sports coverage. The semi-outlaw streaming sites on the web frontrow etc are usually not great quality and who knows how long they'll survive.

Sports is the achilles heel as far as dropping cable. Here's a general article about cutting the cord...from Thursday's NYTimes.

I keep time warner cable just for the time warner sports network - puts a dent in my budget each month, but I keep getting promotions every year and keep my monthly bill around $90.

I had a thread earlier trying to find cheaper options including frontier cable and satellite and it seems like a lot of the minor games that time warner sports carries are only available there. Many of the basketball games are on espn3 now and it may move to where all of them are there, but for now if you want every game, not just the big ones, you need TWC.
