Hate to say anything good about G'town, but I like it. Old rivalries are great.

Couldn't have said it better.....well I guess I would have chosen SU highlights but, in my view this is our most important traditional rivalry and we need to preserve it.
First played in 1930. Regularly played since 1980 and typically back in forth over the years.
90 prior meetings - 49 to the good guys and 41 to the bad guys.
I know there is always debate Hoyas v. Huskies. I think if you were a fan when Georgetown "Officially closed Manley Field House" you probably feel more strongly about Georgetown because that game represents so much (even though it probably wasn't that meaningful standing on its own) and is a piece of the history we can never win back.
