That 1987 regional final was on a Saturday. Providence beat G'town earlier that day. The next day Indiana beat LSU and UNLV beat Iowa


Musberger and Packer did double duty that weekend, they called the SU/UNC game the day before

Fun to watch that again this many years later. We weren't a jump shooting team then either, but man could Rony and DC do damage inside. Funny watching SU play M2M too.
