Our 50-42 3OT Dome win over VT from 2002 will air at midnight on ESPN Classic tonight. One of the most exciting SU games I've been to.

1,163 yds of combined offense, Troy Nunes vs Bryan Randall, career days for both David Tyree & Ernest Wilford, Reyes & Rhodes running wild.

Always paid attention to Wilford in the NFL because of that game.

Wilford- 8 rec. 279 yds 4 TDs (pretty sure the yards & ypc were Dome records at the time & may still be). The 4 TDs may also be.

Tyree- 9 rec. 229 yds 0 TDs but did block a punt to set up a TD.

TDs of 75, 34, 87, & 5. Dude was unstoppable that day. Reading the recap, it's interesting that the Dome was near capacity with us coming in at 3-6 (1-3 in BE). I recall it being pretty full/loud.

Probably a top 3 post-McNabb Dome game along with the Freeney 4.5 sack of Vick game in 2000 & the post-9/11 win over Auburn in '01.

Pounding Rutty in '09, shocking WVU on Friday night in 2011, & last year's VT upset are up there but, IMO, a notch below. I'm probably forgetting an obvious game somewhere.

Perhaps just the Louisville win in 2012. Not sure if any board members here went to the luncheons back then, but Marrone predicted a win before that game.
