Cuse opens -2.5 over Pitt…

I don’t bet on games, and certainly not SU games, but it’s crazy we’re not getting close to double digit points here.

We’re too close to it to be reasonable. Fact is, it’s a coinflip to anyone objective. Which is not us obviously.

Everything else aside I would love to beat that team. Let the new coach not have a losing streak.

Their problems are as deep as ours but no way their QB is anywhere near as bad as what we threw out vs BC so we’ll see.

Friday was an awful game but every position but quarterback was ok honestly.

I don't see how we beat Pitt, this team has found a way to lose and I don't see that changing. I think we get beat by at least 10, maybe more given our history with this team.

No one setting the odds is watching this team play this year. I don’t blame them. But this line isn’t being set by someone who’s watched our last five games and said heck yeah they’ve got a good chance to win this thing!

The numbers don’t lie, which is what the spread is set by. Since most bettors use analytics now, a summary of analytics gets you generally close to the spread.

That we are hot garbage is indisputable. Sagarin has us behind Montana St. If we played 6-3 North Dakota State at their place, we’d be an underdog. That we are garbage is well understood and is factored into the spread. However - and this is key - Pitt is also hot garbage. They are ranked 70th in Sagarin, behind 3-6 California. They are poo-poo.

The only reason we have “a good chance to win this thing” is anyone looking at the numbers would say both teams are dumpster fires and it’s pretty close to a coin toss. Anyone who has watched both teams and isn’t heavily emotionally invested would come to the same conclusion.

Jumped to +3 all over the board this afternoon. Lots and lots of dinero coming in from the steel city. It’s their funeral.

Our pass catchers absolutely have to step up and help Carlos out tomorrow. No dropped balls, no being soft on 50/50 balls. Just make plays. CDRW's confidence is probably running on fumes right now, but if he can just get into a rhythm with some early success, maybe he can have a decent game (e.g. like ND last year and not like last week).

Everyone marvels at the low Iowa totals but we're sitting at 37.5 currently. This is going to be so brutal to watch. If you can manage the entire game you should get a free ticket to a game next year.

Cue the stunads saying they’re gonna bet the house on Pitt!!

I’ll be driving across state lines to lay some on the Orange. Like a Phoenix from the ashes this week!
How much have you lost the last 5 weeks betting cuse? You’ll get it right soon enough, keep at it!! ;)

I spent the entire GROB era getting rich betting against us , so now I’m just returning the favor and betting Cuse. Few hundred here, few hundred there. Couch cushion money. It’ll pay eventually! Lol
