Last year's numbers are baked into this year's projections and every team in the league got a relatively large bump from flukey tournament runs by UCLA and Oregon State. They shot the chit out of the ball and the teams they played shot terrible.

I suck at gambling but early season CBB lines are basically kenpom's numbers and every model has its flaws in certain sample sizes so thats my angle for the first week or so. Lol

What was Oregon State ranked defensively?

Finished 60 on kenpom and 71 on torvik. Overall rating jumped 60 spots and 50 spots on each from the beginning of the P12 tourney run through the Houston loss.

Lafayette has an interesting roster. They weirdly might be the biggest team we play all season. A couple guys are returning from injury so I'm not sure what their starting line up is going to look like, but with everyone healthy it looks like it should be 6'2, 6'4, 6'7, 6'7, 7'0 ... with 6'10, a 6'7 guard, and 6'2 coming off the bench.
