O/U is 151.5. That is definitely doable as Cornell is one of the fastest paced/highest scoring teams.

Looking forward to a fun game.

Their best player is from Buffalo and played on the City Rocks with Girard and Symir. Greg Dolan. He’s shooting 59% from 3. I assume he guards Girard too.
What's interesting about Dolan is that he hasn't scored more than 19 points in a game this season nor shot more than 6 threes. That said, he could shoot 6 threes in the first half against us.

Is there a bet he scores over 20? I'd easily bet that.

What is the O/U on the number of made Cornell 3fg? I'd put it at 15 and it would probably get even money.

They are averaging 11.9 made threes a game and have attempted 289 in nine games, so they are not afraid to hoist them up.

The key vs this Cornell team is just that, like against Colgate you have to defend the 3pt line better. Cornell is also very poor defensively so we have to attack them and take advantage.

They’re top shooters are shooting well above their career averages, at some point they’ll come back to earth (no team has 3 guys shooting 48% plus for much more than a few game stretch) might not be this game, but it will be very soon.

JAB has always been about analytics before anyone knew what that word meant. That's why he slows the number of possessions down with a lead under five minutes to go. Greatly increases the chance of winning.

Same thing with 3 point shooting. Analytics tell us that players that come out hot will eventually cool off. As we have seen, that's not always true. But, we have seen JAB make more changes this season than in most years, and Jesse and Co. are doing a better job with the corner three, which statistically is the easiest one to make.

It's the top of the key and wings I'm more worried about in a game like this. Cornell moving the ball through the middle and getting their shooters looks every possession has been the kind of game plan that has been a struggle for us and for JB to scheme against in our multi year slide. We also need good offense to help ensure game pressure is consistent. Can't afford to have an effort or mental lapses like Colgate or Bryant here.

Yup, we make career highs for opponents on the regular.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he puts up 20 in the first half.

Especially if Joe is guarding him.

We also tend to limit the opposing team’s best player. I say he scores less than his average.

We play zone

Not so much this year.

Not the case vs Lehigh, Colgate, St Johns, Bryant, Illinois, Oakland, Gtown or Monmouth.

Points to the struggles this year so far.

We held ND’s top scorer to two points.

Yes. That, Northeastern and Richmond ( to a lesser extent) are the only examples this year. We haven't limited anyone else's top guy.

So maybe we can do it again today but it hasn't at all been the tendency this year.

Take the points and sprinkle some on the money line.
