Bill Coen has done a good job the last few years at Northeastern. They have a bunch of players born in Europe, Africa and Canada, like us. They also have pretty good size for a mid-major. They have only played two games so far, playing UMass twice and splitting with them. Bill Coen played his college ball at Hamilton so it's kind of a CNY reunion for him. Hopefully not a happy one.

Is this game definitely getting played? With all the snow that is expected.

I saw northeastern vs umass on espn+ the other day, glad were play eastern cause umass looks legit to me, eastern has some athletes tho

We play hard and play our game and we shouldn't be worried about anyone left in the non conference. Lots to improve but there is so much to like as well.

I don't see it being a very close game, at least it shouldn't be, umass on the other hand would be tough IMO- I'm more of a football guy but they looked like a solid tourney team to me

UMass I wouldn't be worried about either. Mitchell is a stud but they are just ok after that. Would have been great if Mitchell could have come here.

You know we’re in Syracuse...right? Since when does snow stop Syracuse basketball?

Northeastern is going to have a tough time getting back before tomorrow night. We're expecting about a foot here, ending late tomorrow afternoon.

Edit: Unless the game goes 46 OT's, they should be good if they leave immediately after the game. Not supposed to even start here (MA) until 8 or 9 PM.

I bet this is why the game was scheduled for 3. Snow is going to get worst as you head east on I-90.

would have been an interesting ride home for many now.. the storm starts around 3pm south of the city and even cortland is now in the 7-12 inches at 2in per hour thru the night.

Just three days ago, NorthEastern beat Umass.

I hope they are good and this is a competitive game, team needs as many of them as possible pre acc gauntlet

Ask and ye shall receive.
