CC going single high all night really showed they didnt think we could get over the top and while we really didnt it wasnt because they werent open, we just missed them over and over, and it was all of them Ish/Custis/Phillips all had open shots deep and didnt connect..  Hopefully we clean that timing up a bit.

One thing that was interesting was the routes were almost all run 5-7 yds in from the sideline and the throws almost all led inside where the DBs were making it easier to defend..  Custus had one thrown outside but it was underthrown in any case.   Not sure about that play design if it was supposed to be thrown that way.

In contrast when we had multiple throws down the sideline we ended up throwing them out of bounds several times..

hopefully some film study cleans up some other things as well..  We had 2-3 times guys running middle deep slants with no safety help and a whole field to lead the WR open and never threw the ball that direction.

really we should have hit deep balls 5-6 times and didnt complete any, its all about getting shots and we misfired.

we did confused them a bit though,  the one to Moe they never covered and a couple to Phillips were blown coverage's as well, hope to see that continue, and as someone else said we ignored the middle of the field almost all game and I think that was by design, we seldom even ran guys into that area.
