Ken pom seems to do some of the best work managing early season through until there is a legit body of work to analyze.

They beat Oklahoma and Utah on the road this year already. Oklahoma is 38 in KP, Utah 51. Nevada is top 100 Ken Pom at 89 so not a major loss. Obviously too high right now but the road wins factor is likely driving it..

Nobody really good has played road games much. There have been a handful. Have we been on road yet? We didnt until conf play Saturday. Its all home and neutral. If you pick up a couple top 50 road wins early, you will be bumped. Is what it is. They arent staying there obviously. But find me another team who has one loss and two top 50 road wins in the first week of December, they are 2-1 in Q1 games. Duke is 2-2. They deserve the net rank right now.

Flaws in the Net to be that high and the Net not being aggregated previous year data and analysis like Ken Pom. Point was it makes sense based on the limited data with those wins vs say their best wins were at Bryant and Syracuse. It won't last as they won't be like Colgate was in 2020
