Dance round man, dance...

Oh man, Monmouth didn't make the tournament.

Was that during the broadcast when they showed us or did they flash the tweet on the screen?

I liked that G didn't have his moment of elation previously burst by a leak like our thread did. It's gotta be great to have that moment, I imagine. Go G, go Coon Dog, go Christian White, go Cuse!!!!!

I'd imagine the broadcast. G said he got to find out the more fulfilling way, with no tweet. Cooney supposedly had heard about it, but likely hadnt taken it to heart.

Fans from another team fell in love with Otto during timeouts.
But that's kind of the short version, isn't it? There's a longer version out there somewhere. Maybe I should search for it . . . . .

Behind me were a bunch of frat boys from UVa who rode up to watch the game. They were rooting for Miami in the first game and completely confounded by the performance. They also booed loudly any time they showed Duke or Carolina on the big screen above center court (at timeouts they showed classic tourney moments). They mocked Tyler Hansborough and said he couldn't talk. One of them in our game took a fancy to Otto. At every timeout he would scream, "Dance, Round Man, Dance!" He also liked it when Otto pulled his arms inside his costume and swung the body part of the costume around like a spherical hula hoop. He told his friends Otto had gone from being one of his least favorite mascots to one of his favorites.

Just as good reading it this time as last time. I found the entire post. Thank you, OrangeXtreme!

Awesome video, thanks for sharing. Happiest in the room looks like G. Too happy to even move for the first 30 seconds. He deserves this chance in the tournament. Also, is that a man-bun on Malachi?

Great video, bump for anyone who didnt see, and very worth checking out the entire OP of the origination story! EPIC.

And I wanted to thank whomever for the explanation in my alerts. Thats the kind of class act and understanding I'm happy to deal with. I think my Mom was right about honey vs vinegar, you know? ;) Again, I'm grateful, and also grateful for both awesome OPs!

G is such a cool cat. Hope he plays selfish this tournament, he can take over games anytime he wants.
