I didn't like the guy as a player because I didn't like the Cowboys.

But after his exposure on MNF, I don't think anyone disliked the guy. He certainly understood the game and was entertaining to boot. He was obviously a good guy. The world's a worse place without him.

And as a bonus, he jabbed Howard Cossell frequently including that wonderful parting shot at Howard who was obviously shxtfaced drunk on the air at a NYG vs. PHL game.
