I still think some rich NCAA programs are going to start going the NBA / pro sport route in terms of managing its programs. They will some experienced names / former coaches and install them into the "GM/Team President" role to have controlling oversight over the basketball or football team. Much more hands on then what an AD does. They will have final say over player moves and they essentially are the boss of the team and the roster .
