Daredevil (Netflix/Marvel series)

So, I just binge watched Daredevil over the past few days. Damn, this show is freaking fantastic. Really excellent job by all involved, with Vincent D'Onofrio in particular standing out as Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin).

Definitely a lot darker than any other Marvel movie/show so far, and it gets brutally violent now and then. If you like seeing compound fractures, the fight scenes in this show are for you.

Episode two ends with one of the most impressive fight scenes I've ever seen. It's about six minutes long, all in one hallway, and believe it or not, it's all ONE SHOT. I was convinced they snuck a couple cuts in there, but from what I've read, it's all one single, long, impressive as hell take. Unbelievable.

I watched the first two episodes tonight. It's pretty good. The fight scenes go on for way too long, but I know they have to please the meatheads. I will stick with it.

good series. they made it pretty dark but kept that slight air of comic book cheesyness.

By the way, Jon Bernthal (Shane from Walking Dead) is joining the cast as the Punisher next season.
