David Kahn thought Flynn and Rubio were the next Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe

Kahn is one of the more clueless general managers in a long time. His moves that year when he drafted two point guards had everyone questioning what he was doing. Especially since Rubio was not available for a year or two. Of course he couldn't have predicted that Flynn would have the hip problems that he had but still it was questionable drafting a 6' point guard in the top of the lottery...

Didn't he draft Ty Lawson too before trading him to Denver?

He also took the guard from Florida, white dude, Calathas?

For those keeping score, that's four guards.

That draft set their franchise back several years, they are still in recovery mode.
