Here is the scoop:

This kid is a four star recruit from North Shore HS in Houston.

Verbaled to Georgia over Texas and Michigan a long time ago but got in trouble and lost his scholarship. Guns were involved. See link.

Felony charges were dropped 2 months ago. Looks like Fran is trying to give him another chance.

interesting. From reading some other Georgia poster comments from January when the charges were dropped, it sounded like most were still thinking he’d end up at UGA and wanted him still.

Someone indicated he was driving a car while another person was doing the shooting. Regardless, seems he’s made some very poor decisions and likely has hung with others that were not exactly model citizens.

Hopefully the kid has learned and makes better decisions moving forward, but he’d be a bit of a gamble for sure.

Wonder if Fran has received some info from Kirby on this.
