We offered him out of high school. He apparently felt that Penn State's defensive system didn't play to his strengths.
People on the Ped State board were surprised that he portaled as they thought he might even start this season.
He was the #189-ranked overall recruit nationally then, according to, well, I'm not sure who.

While we don’t know the real reason Robinson is entering the portal, one would imagine that he is looking for more than rotational snaps he was likely to see in Happy Valley this coming season. One would imagine that Robinson, even without a spring practice, could potentially start right away at schools like Virginia Tech, NC State, or West Virginia.
