Class of 2022 DE Ken Talley (PA) Transferring from Penn St to Michigan St

Offers from Temple, Pitt, VT, UMass, Florida, WVU, Baylor, Morgan St, Kent St, UMD, PSU, Rutgers (Ash), Syracuse

The naïve question everybody's thinking: I wonder what happened?

Unless he transferred to OSU, Bama, Georgia or UNC. :):)
he could transfer here and get a quick waiver to play this season. the NCAA always grants waivers to Syracuse players. except for, you know, every time in the past
Have an example of someone transferring post May 1 in 2021 or 2022 (since the 1 time transfer rule passed) and getting an exemption to play for a different FBS school the same year?

KEN TALLEY 2022 DECOMMIT FROM PST - NORTHEAST HS, PHILADEPHIA, PA

Talley graduated from Northeast High in Philadelphia, where he became one of Pennsylvania's top defensive players. He was a two-time MVP in Philadelphia Public League's Class 6A and helped Northeast to two league titles.

Talley (6-2, 238 pounds) made 95 tackles, including 20 for loss, and five sacks as a senior. He was an ESPN Top 300 prospect and a top-10 player in Pennsylvania. Penn State projected him at either linebacker or defensive end

He joined the team, but I haven't found evidence his waiver to this season play has been approved.
