I have no idea if anything has changed since May or June but I do know "laughing at the thought..." doesn't sound plausible.   Maybe the lure of a personal call from Nick Saban or the dream of a kid to follow in dad's footsteps will be hard to beat but your post is 180 degrees from the truth.
 
This is a real kid, with a real family.  I'd recommend waiting a few seconds before clicking send when posting something about a kid that makes him look bad without truly knowing it's a fact.
