The Worst of the Worst
The teams that could just go ahead and cease to exist are Wake Forest, Syracuse, and Virginia. All three are terrible, awful excuses for football programs that you should never, under any circumstance, waste three hours of your ever-shortening life watching. These teams exist to make others teams bowl eligible and occasionally win a game they have no business winning just to stir the pot. The league, and football in general, would be better without them. But I guess you have to have sucky teams, so when it comes to balancing out a league, these bad boys are the cream of the crop.

Last year, my wife pretty much said the same thing, "Why do you waste 2-3 hours every Saturday just to watch them lose"

The perception at Deadspin is meant to be reactionary and is of absolutely no value other than entertainment. This sort of thing has no bearing on how our kids prepare and play, so I don't let it bother me as an alum and a fan.

Deadspin is a POS site. However, they still have influence with millennials who read that site. I don't read Deadspin except when they take down ESPN but I hate seeing our stock so low. It is like when Citigroup was down 1 dollar in 2009 when I scoped a lot of it. We shouldn't be perceived as the worst of the worst. I blame that on Greg Robinson.

I get where you are coming from, I just don't allow that to weigh on me. When it comes to journalism about college football, all I ask is that the bias be minimized, especially during games. Everyone is entitled to her or his opinion. I just expect that journalists be honest, direct, and fair in their coverage. I'm still waiting for the app that keeps score of the talking heads. We could rank them!

But in a way she was right, we were god awful last year, and I at least watched the first half of every game, maybe even the first series of the 2nd half if we got the ball first. But I mean she was right, how else were the leaves going to get raked?

Sidenote, I spent $600 on one of those push behind leaf/yard vaccums. Best money i ever spent. I can do my lawn in no time come the fall.
