You just took a banged up Orange team into Death Valley with a true freshman QB in his second start ever and gave the 22nd ranked team in the country all they could ask for - you almost pulled off a great upset. In the process, you held Clemson to the fewest points they have scored this year.

Coach, you have absolutely nothing for which to apologize and every reason to proud of the team, the staff and your leadership. I have been never more proud of our guys who played their hearts out last Saturday. They are a Shafer team.

So relax, we know the victories will come - very soon!

After watching that Michigan abomination I was very proud of our team. They played hard, they never quit, and it was so easy to see that having the comparison between SU and UofM.

Our D played their guts out in Death Valley. But, we may not see Clemson with a turd of a qb like Stoudt again in 10 years... He was atrocious; could not run, and could not hit anyone downfield. I still need to see proof that our D can contain a running qb AND get off the field against a competent passing offense. Because Clemson had neither on Saturday night. Clemson with Watson @ qb may be the 22nd ranked team in the nation, but with Stoudt no way, at least on offense...

During an eight hour trip, Alyce took a selfie with Otto (or as tomcat calls it "Road Kill Otto" and I liked it so I used it as my avatar. I was informed that it was an unauthorized use of a selfie (no makeup) so I have been in a lonely search foe a new avatar ever since.

So, yes I am having avatar anxiety!
