I know you are pretty busy right now dealing with all the commotion that is swirling around your team and it must be really tough to know that your dream of leading Syracuse to a National Title has suddenly become infinitely more difficult to attain. But as a lifelong Syracuse fan I just want you to know that I'm going to be cheering for you and our team louder, longer, and harder than ever because you deserve all the support in the world. I know you've worked incredibly hard over the past 5 years and it's been your dream to bring a National Championship to Syracuse and all of it's fans. You've endured all kinds of obstacles and we've all watched you grow from a young inexperienced freshman to a gritty leader who embodies the spirit of this team. I also want you to know that I've developed a great deal of respect for you both as a basketball player and more importantly as an example of all the fine qualities that one would hope to find in a player on their team. When you've made mistakes you've owned them and made amends for them. When you have been the target of criticism you endeavored to persevere and improve your game and just intensified your resolve to be the best you could be both on and off the court. If there is anyone who can lead this team forward to victory under the current circumstances I believe it is YOU Scoop! There have been many great players throughout the history of the program. None of them have led a team to a record of 31-2. You have Scoop. Never has there been a team which has had so many distractions and yet you have through your leadership been largely responsible for keeping the focus of this team on playing well TOGETHER and willing it to win. There will be more doubters now than ever before with the recent developments. But it takes more than one person for a team to win. We Syracuse fans have seen what is possible when this team plays together with a sense of purpose. Winning the National Championship is still possible for those who truly believe and play to the fullest extent of their ability. Scoop, lead this team on into the tournament and know that true Syracuse fans will be behind you now more than ever. And remember the imortal words of Dion Waiters, "IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING"
