Just wanted to post a really fun highlight reel. One of my players, who is actually a D-1 baseball recruit, took over QB for us the last 3 games of the season, and he transformed our offense to a different level. We went to averaging close to 30 points a game with him throwing the rock. He is a 5'11, 170 pound receiver. Runs closer to a 4.6 than a 4.7 40. The fact that he did all of this in the last 3 games with a sprained ankle is pretty great. He has some interest from lower level D-1 schools to play receiver, but baseball will be his route. Take a look at his highlight. He's very shifty and very gritty. He has a moxy about him where he doesn't care who he is going up against, he thinks he is going to win.

Just wanted to post something fun that football fans would enjoy watching.

That's a fun highlight considering he only played qb for 3 games.

I have one for you. This kid plays QB at the HS I graduated from. He's a bit small, lacks elite top end speed and doesn't have ideal throwing motion but the kid is a playmaker. I thought about posting something about him earlier as a potential walk on option as such but never did. Fun to watch though... dare I say, he reminds me of an absolute magician from years past?

I think he could potentially be turned into a slot wr.

I like the way he blocks when his number's not called. Also like the way he's able to get enough separation to make the catch; a 4.5 40 isn't needed to create separation. Steve Largent is a perfect example of that.

Which D1 schools have taken an interest?
