The BE bottom feeders could always say come to me and you get to play the big boys.  It is a ploy that never worked for them.  It is not going to work for us in the ACC.  Being smoked by a superior team is no fun for players or fans.

In the ACC we cannot recruit over the entrenched big boys.  We are on their turf. They have ACC tradition and creed.

We still have facilities, fans and traditions, albeit less relevant to the ACC, so we will have our moments but the old days of consistent dominance are gone forever.

If some of the ACC football teams are poached, as is likely,, ACC revenue will be washed away.  What would happen to us?  Football would become a second tear program.  Our football hopes would be gone.  Our best hope for basketball would be to get back to our NE roots.  JMO
