OMG. Don't get me started. Not sure if I ever told the story about Freshman year, I broke my leg skiing at Song Mtn. the day before winter classes started. Eventually I got a stump on the bottom of my cast so I could sort of walk. So I lived in Shaw, and would walk up Comstock to Manley carrying my crutches. When I got to Manley I would start hobbling in with my crutches, and some poor guy in the first row would inevitably give me his seat, which he probably had to get there hours before to get. I would then throw my crutches under the bleachers and enjoy the game. Of course I had to get there in time to see Dennis do his warm ups. To this day I still listen to It's Alright. It is in my song mix. One of those songs I probably illegally downloaded years ago, because I HAD to have it!! It is my Syracuse basketball song. 
Then there was the dance marathon that I was dancing in 1975 when we won to go to the final four. They bought in a small tv that we all gathered around to watch that game. I am not sure I will ever have memories like these. They are the ones that made me a lifer...
(although final four with a NC in 2017 in Phoenix might surpass these...)
